As a customer of dexter MT, you have the advantage that we carry out all steps of the process in-house and under one roof. That starts with designing the product, for which we also make hand samples. Ultimately, we produce and supply a complete 0 series from the final mould. Even then it doesn’t stop there.

If you wish, we will install the mold on your machine and optimize the product and production speed. We can even train your production staff. This is possible at dexter MT and at your location, where we teach your employees theoretical knowledge and let them gain immediately applicable practical experience with your own machines.

How we work

  • Product design

    The first step in the development of a new packaging is an attractive and functional design. We take care of this with our own design agency “Formital”.

  • Prototype

    A new product only really comes to life when you can hold it in your hands and feel it. So besides showing you a great 3D image of your design, we can also produce some samples.

  • Trial run

    We can also go one step further by making you a test mould. This can be used to produce anything from a few dozen to tens of thousands of products. The products are representative of the end product that will be made with the final production mould.

  • Mould design

    Once you have approved the product design, we start building the mould. As we are familiar with virtually all known machine types, we will come up with the best possible layout for your needs.

  • Part production

    Once the mould design has been finalised, we start producing the various parts. These are made on our innovative machines using techniques such as 3 and 5 axis electrode milling, turning and wire or zinc spark eroding.

  • Assembly

    After producing the individual components, our team of professionals in the assembly department assembles the mould. Each mould is assembled and prepared for delivery to the customer with the greatest of care and under the constant watchful eye of our quality experts.

  • Trial run in KMD85 or GABLER M92XL

    At dexter MT, a finished mould doesn’t mean our work is done. All moulds are tested – on our own Kiefel KMD 85 BFS and Gabler M92XL, for example.

  • Service

    As the last step in the start-up of a new product, we can install the new mold in your production. Our own thermoforming experts are trained to get the most out of the mold on all thermoforming machines.

Specialist in thermoformers

We work closely with well-known thermoformer manufacturers like Gabler, Illig, WM and Kiefel. All these manufacturers have the greatest confidence in us and our products. We are one of the few independent companies in the thermoforming market specialising in moulds.

Our customers are large packaging specialists like Hordijk, Paccor, RPC and Phoenix. We make moulds for them for producing thin-walled plastic packaging for the food, horticultural, logistics and industrial sectors. You’re bound to come across packaging made with our moulds in almost every supermarket and every garden centre in the world.

We conduct all our business in accordance with the General delivery and payment terms of Koninklijke Metaalunie.
