Since 1964, Ten Vaarwerk has been innovative in the field of (fine) metalworking. Together with our customers, we are still exploring the boundaries of our capabilities.

Twin brothers Herman and Gerard ten Vaarwerk started a metalworking company in 1964, manufacturing parts for mechanical engineering. In those days, you could still ask the bank manager for a loan with a rough plan and a box of cigars, so to speak. With the arrival of brother Ben, precision metalworking also took its place in the company and thermoforming dies in particular were made.

Today, Ten Vaarwerk is a modern company where inspired technicians design and make high-precision moulds and parts (dies and tools). Ten Vaarwerk is part of the dexter Group.

DEXTER GROUP

Besides Ten Vaarwerk, dexter MT, Coremans and Formital are part of the dexter Group. The various business units are independent but often make use of each other’s knowledge and experience.

In 2004, the thermoforming die department continued as dexter MT (Mould Technology), while precision tooling was continued by Ten Vaarwerk. The Coremans family business was acquired in 2008. Based in Rilland, Zeeland, the company manufactures injection and blow moulds. Formital designs thin-walled thermoformed packaging for food, horticulture, logistics and industry.
